Hi, welcome to my Media Studies blog! My name is Isabella, and I’m a junior starting my portfolio project for AICE Media Studies. I enjoy being creative, trying new ideas, and learning how media shapes the way we see the world.
Through the portfolio process, I hope to build technical skills in media production and also improve at planning, research, and evaluation. Since the Cambridge syllabus values both creativity and reflection, I want my product to be original while showing that I understand key media concepts.
For my portfolio, I’m thinking about creating a film opening. I’ve always loved storytelling, and film is a strong way to connect with an audience. A film opening would let me practice camera work, editing, and sound while also showing how to set up genre and character in just a few minutes.
